2. Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the site, technical data such as your IP address, date and time, the requested page and your browser type are processed to deliver the site securely and to prevent abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses.
3. Quiz answers
Your quiz answers (including your first name and birthday) are processed only in your browser to create your result. They are not sent to our servers unless you sign up for emails (see section 4).
4. Email newsletter
If you sign up, we process your email address, first name and zodiac sign to send you your reading and our email series about love and astrology, including recommendations of third-party products (affiliate links). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use a double opt-in: you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. We log the time of sign-up and confirmation to document your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
Our email service provider is EmailOctopus, operated by Three Hearts Digital Ltd, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. Contact data is stored on servers in Ireland. EmailOctopus uses service providers for sending (e.g. SendGrid, SparkPost) who may process data outside the EU/UK. Transfers are based on the EU adequacy decision for the United Kingdom and/or standard contractual clauses.
5. Ad measurement (Meta Pixel)
Only if you accept cookies, we use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta receives data such as your IP address, browser information and events on this page (e.g. starting the quiz, signing up, clicking to the offer). For collecting and transmitting this data we are jointly responsible with Meta (Art. 26 GDPR). Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
6. Fonts
All fonts are hosted on our own server. No connection to Google or other font providers is made.
7. Links to third-party offers
When you click a link to an offer, you leave this site. The seller and ClickBank (Click Sales Inc., USA) then process your data under their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing, and you can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
